Jack shared Homes for Hope’s mission as a faith-based, non-profit providing the opportunity for builders, their trade partners and other building industry stakeholders to collaboratively build Homes for HOPE within the United States.  The proceeds from the sale of these homes are granted to HOPE International where they are used to provide entrepreneurs in 16 countries with the opportunity to break the cycle of poverty.

These entrepreneurs receive microloans usable to launch and grow their small, cottage-style businesses.  As income increases for these small, entrepreneurial businesses, their owners are able to provide for their family’s food, education, shelter and healthcare, no longer relying on handouts and restoring their dignity.

Josee Mujingathe is a great example.  Living in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Josee makes and sells breads and small cakes.  She has been able to borrow and repay a number of small loans over the years allowing her to continuously grow her business and provide for her 9 children.
