Executive Director, Homes for HOPE

Matthew Baehr brings over 18 years of experience in the non-profit sector to his role as executive director of Homes for HOPE. He is an experienced speaker, networker, and fundraiser who loves to grow organizations through thoughtful strategic planning processes and influential leadership development methods. Matt is an active member of his church and loves spending time with his amazing wife Heather, and their four great kids.

Western US Representative, Homes for HOPE

Drake serves as the Western US Representative for Homes for HOPE. Prior to joining our team in 2022, Drake spent five years working for ministries in the Dallas area and two years working in Sub-Saharan Africa, including one year as a HOPE International Fellow in Harare, Zimbabwe. Drake is passionate about sharing the stories of men and women overcoming poverty, isolation, and hopelessness through the work of HOPE. He received his B.A. in Marketing from Dallas Baptist University and is currently pursuing a Masters in Nonprofit Management from Liberty University. He lives with his wife, Morgan, son, Judah, and dog, Elie, in Richardson, TX, where they are active members of Mosaic Church.

Eastern US Representative, Homes for HOPE

Stephen is an impact driven relationship builder seeking to connect donors with Kingdom purpose to create lasting global change. Stephen joined the Homes for HOPE team in 2022 as the Eastern US Representative with a passion for HOPE’s work as an active member of the HOPE Nashville local board since 2020. Prior to this, Stephen spent 9 years working for ministries in Charlotte, NC and two years working in East Africa. He received his B.A. in International and Developmental Economics from the University of New Hampshire. Stephen lives with his wife, Jess, son, Luca, and dog, Cornelius, in Nashville, TN, where they are active members of their church, The Belonging Co.

Marketing and Operations Specialist, Homes for HOPE

Kirstin joined our team as the Operations and Marketing Strategist after fifteen years in campus ministry. She has a B.A. in History from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a Certificate in Biblical Studies from Cru’s seminary partners. The Lord gave her a heart for the nations when she accidentally lived in the international dorm as a student, and she has been passionate about crossing cultures and responsible engagement ever since. She loves getting to be a part of the greater work of HOPE International by providing operational support to the Homes for HOPE team. She and her husband met while she was serving in Botswana, and they have since settled in Lancaster, PA with their two little girls.
