If there had to be a single ingredient that made a Home For Hope builder, it would be a seed planted by the Holy Spirit that moves them to give of themselves time and time again during a period of great uncertainty; a burden to serve. Today, it seems as if the reeling building industry has begun the long walk up-hill to sustainable growth. We’ve still got a lot further to go, but the dust is beginning to settle and we can see things much clearer now.

It is clear that H4H has some truly burdened friends.

2 weeks ago, at the 2012 Lancaster/Lebanon Parade of Homes, an annual event sponsored by the Fulton Bank and presented by the Building Industry Association of Lancaster County, two of our dearest friends were honored with prestige.

E.G. Stoltzfus was awarded the Lancaster County Fulton Award for their one-of-a-kind custom built home in their Bent Creek Development in the East Hempfield Township.

Keystone Custom Homes was awarded the Lebanon County Fulton Award for their Windsor Floor Plan and was a topic in the Lancaster Online Publication this past Sunday.

We praise God for the work He has accomplished through the lives of the men and women at Keystone Custom Homes and E.G. Stoltzfus. They have boldly and faithfully given time and time again through the fiercest recession this generation has ever seen. The trials still remain and the burdens have not been lifted, but the Lord has strengthened their backs for the journey.

The distance between a true servant and a true leader is small, and the industry is starting to take notice. To God be the Glory.
