Builder Steve Brooks with Haitian contractors…

During the past month – a Homes for Hope team took an exploratory trip to Haiti to see how we could help Haitians rebuild their own homes with an affordable and effective building technology.  I talked with several Homes for Hope builders who went on the trip: Perry Bigelow, Bigelow Homes; Steve Brooks, Grand Homes; and Jeff Rutt Keystone Custom Homes.  Said Steve Brooks to Jeff Rutt who organized the trip, ” Thanks for a wonderful adventure!  I’m humbled to be a small part of this Godly Mission.  With all my heart God bless you!!! Let’s make this happen.”
Perry Bigelow also lauded the new pilot proram “It’s great that Homes for Hope is working through HOPE International’s economic development program to create a business opportunity which not only helps people out of poverty, but helps them into new shelter.”
Builder and HOPE International founder Jeff Rutt added his two cents as well, “our goal here is to help people break the cycle of poverty and assist them in using their God-given talents to make a brighter future for their families and communities.”
