Nelson Mitchell wins the 2022 HearthStone Builder Humanitarian Award
It is with great excitement that Homes for HOPE congratulates fourth-generation homebuilder, Nelson Mitchell, CEO of HistoryMaker Homes, for receiving the 2022 HearthStone Builder Humanitarian Award. In May, Nelson received the award at the Builder 100 Leadership Summit in Laguna Nigel, California surrounded by members of his family and the HistoryMaker Homes team. Homes for HOPE is honored to have had Nelson and HistoryMaker Homes partner with us for two projects totaling over $350,000 in revenue. On top of that, HistoryMaker Homes donated $150,000 to Homes for HOPE and The Miracle League upon receiving of the HearthStone Award.
HistoryMaker Homes has long been respected in Texas, known for being a family-run business that values giving back. Nelson and his company have raised over $14.5 million, benefiting children with disabilities, impoverished communities, veterans, local homeless populations, and Homes for HOPE.
