John Houston Homes Celebrates Their First Homes for HOPE Project Completion

In 2004, John and Tracy Houston started John Houston Homes (JHH) with a mission to reach people for Christ and give to the kingdom. Today, almost 20 years later, JHH is employee-owned by over 100 team members, is ranked among the top home builders in the United States, and builds hundreds of homes a year in four major market areas across 40+ communities. 

While their homes are impressive and their communities immaculate, it is their kingdom-minded approach that has made them a perfect ministry partner with Homes for HOPE. JH Reach, the ministry arm of JHH, focuses on reaching their employees and their families, the local communities they work and live in, and communities around the world. JH Reach aims to inspire and equip leaders in the marketplace to hear God’s voice and live out their faith in obedience to reach others for Christ through our marketplace Reach initiatives. 

JHH’s mission was never more apparent than when we gathered to celebrate their very first Homes for HOPE completion in Waxahachie, Texas, just a few weeks ago. Waxahachie is a desirable community for homeowners because of its small-town feel but close proximity to Dallas. Surrounded by the JHH team, trade partners, and suppliers, we were able to celebrate how one home was going to impact 3,000 lives around the world.
