Grand Homes Completes Their 8th Project and Generates Record Donation
It is with sincere gratitude to their trade partners that Grand Homes announces the completion of their 8th Homes for HOPE project in the McKinney, TX area. This beautiful home has generated a record $400,000 donation – the single largest donation in the history of Grand Homes’ long-standing partnership with Homes for HOPE! This donation will allow HOPE International to serve over 21,000 people living in underserved areas around the world this year alone!
These talented entrepreneurs will use microfinance loans to start, restart, or expand businesses, provide for their families, and break the cycle of generational poverty. This sustainable work would not be possible without the generosity and commitment of Grand Homes’ trade partners to this worthwhile cause – many of whom have participated since their very first Homes for HOPE project back in 2009. Through this project, Grand Homes CEO Steve Brooks is extending a challenge to join him in helping Homes for HOPE raise one million dollars of needed kickstart capital for those HOPE serves around the world. Many have been forced to temporarily shutter their businesses due to COVID-19 restrictions, and none have access to PPP loans or stimulus packages (much less two of them). This kickstart capital will be used to help reopen their businesses after mandated lockdowns are lifted. To date we’ve raised $530,000 of our goal thanks to generous contributions from Grand Homes and other building industry partners.
