What is a disciple? Through HOPE International’s network of Christ-centered microenterprise development programs around the world, thousands of people are pouring their faith into others while providing them the capital to start or expand a business.
The reason HOPE works so hard to empower the poor is because they care about the things God cares about. As a Homes for Hope builder you’re probably not very different from HOPE’s missionary bankers.
So why is this? It’s simple – long before the life and death of Christ, God prophesied through Ezekiel saying:
“I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.”
Ezekial 36:26
This prophecy was fulfilled through Christ and passed on to you when you accepted him as your Lord and Savior. This is why you are like the missionary bankers HOPE deploys around the globe, and why you care so deeply for the people around you.
