Baessler Homes Announcement
Instead of focusing on our needs as an organization this #GivingTuesday, Homes for HOPE would like to highlight three of our generous builder partners and celebrate the impact of their recent gifts! This second blog will focus on our friends at Baessler Homes in Northern CO. Please read to the end where we’ll provide a recommendation for another building industry related non-profit that we love and respect. We joyfully encourage you to consider supporting the charities we feature today.
Homes for HOPE would like to thank Jamie Baessler, his family, the team at Baessler Homes, and the work of their foundation for their generous gift of $50,000! This enables us to provide biblically based training, savings services, and loans for ~ 2,700 families living in underserved communities around the world this year alone!
For more than half a century, Baessler Homes has been giving families in Northern Colorado a special place to call “home”. They believe in beginning with family and that a home is not where you live, but how you live. These beliefs are on vibrant display in the culture Jamie and his wife have worked hard to build in their company, and in the creative ways they have sought to maximize their ability to give generously. Prioritizing family, the Baesslers have added their children to the board of their charitable foundation – including them in the decision-making process and instilling in them a heart for generosity from a young age. From one generation to the next, the Baesslers are creating a legacy of generosity. In a year unlike any other, please join us in celebrating the Baessler Homes team on this #GivingTuesday.
For #GivingTuesday, we invite you to consider supporting the amazing work of Landesa. Since its founding, Landesa has partnered with governments, communities and other stakeholders in more than 50 countries to advance pro-poor, gender-sensitive land rights reforms using law and policy tools. These reforms have helped alleviate poverty, reduce hunger and ease conflict over land for more than 180 million families. Learn more and give here.
