Arise Homes Celebrates Their First Homes for HOPE Project
The weather in Kansas City is famously unpredictable – rain, sunshine, snow, all in the span of a few minutes. At the launch of the Arise Homes’ Homes for HOPE Project in May, it felt like we experienced all four seasons in one day. But despite the unpredictable weather, the spirit was unwavering.
However, on November 17th, the sun smiled down on the Arise Homes Celebration. It was a day filled with warmth, a gentle breeze, and the joy of community coming together. Sure, we may have had a stray balloon escape, but it only added to the the event.
Led by the dedicated efforts of Matt Mabe and Austin Chamberlin, the Arise Homes team cultivated a true family affair. They were so committed to the cause that some of their own children even joined, briefly skipping school to witness firsthand how a business can support a meaningful purpose.
The tradespeople, too, were incredible in their support. Their contributions enabled Arise Homes to donate a staggering $148,000, impacting over 5,000 clients in the first year alone.
Gratitude overflows for the relentless dedication of Matt Mabe, Austin Chamberlin, Janelle Ragland, and the entire Arise Homes team, as well as their trades. It’s through their hard work and commitment that thousands of underserved men and women around the world will be served through microenterprise development.
