Schuber Mitchell Homes Celebration
Schuber Mitchell Homes is a successful homebuilder with offices in southwest Missouri and northwest Arkansas. Born in response to the tragic 2011 Joplin tornado disaster, the growing company has earned a reputation for quality and customer service.
BENTONVILLE, AR – Gathered around tables at a local community center, representatives from Schuber Mitchell Homes learned how their latest Homes for HOPE project will transform lives around the world. Led by Executive Director Matt Baehr, Schuber Mitchell managers, superintendents, tradespeople and others broke into groups to engage in the Discovering HOPE Experience. Each participant was given an identity and a role within a HOPE Savings Group and was tasked with needing to make decisions that our clients confront every day.
“It was a great event for our people,” notes Schuber Mitchell Homes Ministry Coordinator Alivia Bessette. “They were still talking about it and celebrating (the next) morning as a group with our entire Northwest Arkansas team. Safe to say that the vision has been caught!”
Vice President of New Business and Development Oscar Antillon spoke to the intentionality of Schuber Mitchell’s support in a way that beckons to giving the firstfruits of the land from Deuteronomy 26:1-2. “Every time we enter a new market, we want to do a Homes for HOPE project,” says Antillon.
We celebrate the long partnership with Schuber Mitchell Homes and thank them for their generous support. What started as a means to rebuild after the deadliest tornado in our nation’s recorded history has become a vehicle to lift thousands of families out of poverty while they learn the Good News of Jesus Christ.
