For many years, Homes for HOPE had only one main way for builders to engage with our mission, yet there are so many individuals and companies in our industry who are passionate about Christ-centered, global poverty alleviation. David Hagan of Sales Uncomplicated is one of them.  

David Hagan brings a wealth of experience to sales training. David has recruited, trained, and coached sales teams in the new home industry since 2012. He has been working with companies of all sizes, from small, private home builders to large, publicly-traded, national home-building companies. David has also been actively involved in sales leadership, community and product development, land acquisition, marketing, online sales engagement, and many other aspects of home building. His experience of actively setting and exceeding sales goals while producing results makes him unique among sales training leaders. 

Prior to entering the new home sales industry, David spent almost fifteen years pastoring a church near Savannah, GA, and I can personally attest to his ability to deliver truly heartfelt and moving speeches. I connected with David at an industry event in 2022, and as he grew to know and love Homes for HOPE over time, we began to talk about how we could serve alongside each other in advancing our mission.  

With David and other industry consultants, suppliers, and service providers in mind, we developed tiered partnership packages (see below) to give non-builders in our industry the opportunity to join us in the fight against global poverty in all its forms. The benefits listed are simply ways we love to thank our partners. People and companies partner with us because they love our mission, not because of what we can offer them in return. The true and lasting benefit is making a difference in the lives of incredible entrepreneurs we have the privilege of serving like Samson, Sonia, Faustin, and Jovelee 

We are elated to announce that David’s company, Sales Uncomplicated, has started supporting our mission at the HOPE Partner level, and I know nothing would make him happier than for others in the industry to follow his example and join him in supporting HOPE at the highest level they can! 

David and I also just recently did a home-and-home trade off on each other’s podcasts and both episodes were released on the same day! Matthew Baehr brings nearly two decades of experience in disaster relief, humanitarian aid procurement, and ministry to his role as executive director of Homes for HOPE. An experienced speaker, networker, and fundraiser, he enjoys growing organizations through strategic planning and leadership development. Matt serves as an elder at his church and loves spending time with his amazing wife, Heather, and their four great kids.
