Jim Davidson Cares Clay Day

Jim Davidson’s Annual Clay Day

Oct 21, 2024

On Thursday, October 17th, folks from around Florida gathered once again at Jacksonville Clay Target Sports for Jim Davidson’s Annual Clay Day. The day was hosted by Davidson Reality and the Davidson Cares Foundation, in honor of Jim Davidson’s competitive spirit and generosity. Friends, colleagues, and family continue Jim’s tradition of giving each year as they gather in fun to support amazing causes. This year, Homes for HOPE was again selected for support.

The weather was chilly and quite windy with a bright blue sky less than a week following Hurricane Milton. The course was set up for teams of four to compete at fifteen different locations. Varying in difficulty, the shoot provided opportunities at every shooting level.

A total of 30 teams navigated the course at Jim Davidson’s Annual Clay Day, while enjoying the opportunity to network and build friendships. Teams were made up of realtors, home builders, trades, and more. Collaboration on the course and in the field was evident as everyone gathered back at the clubhouse after completing each target.

The day wrapped up with Sherry Davidson presenting awards to winning teams followed by a presentation to the charities supported by the day’s event. Homes for HOPE received $15,000 this year that will increase the impact of lives touched in the HOPE network.

These funds will help 600 of our clients break out of the cycle of generational poverty they’ve been born into. Through generous donations like this, the lives of hundreds of people (and their families) will be changed in the first year alone of utilizing this donation. Following that, the funds are recycled to new clients and the process continues. If you would like to learn more about our work or partner with us, schedule a meeting with us here. We would love to connect with you.
