Green Park Homes Launch Event
On Monday, September 9th, Green Park Homes and affiliated trades gathered together to kick off their first Homes for HOPE project. Folks from around the Atlanta area joined together to hear about the reason Trevor Ross and Sean Davis decided to make a commitment to impact lives around the world.
Homes for HOPE Executive Director, Matt Baehr, led the group through an exercise to exhibit how microfinance works. One by one, participants shared how this helped uncover the difference between approaches to charitable giving. Through the visual aid, attendees remarked about what they learned and how our model will be more enduring and impactful.
Green Park Homes has a vision to build high quality homes that are designed to meet the changing needs of today’s families. Similarly, Homes for HOPE strives to meet needs by fighting global poverty through Christ- centered microenterprise development. Both organizations will come alongside each other to create opportunities for talented entrepreneurs living in some of the toughest places on earth.
